There’s no denying that the show is really well made; interesting, entertaining, and totally addictive, but it’s also a stark reminder of pretty much everything that’s wrong with the fast fashion model. Clothes can often be mended rather than being disposed of, as would have been the case in the past, and highlighting more environmentally friendly alternatives to cotton (such as bamboo and hemp) would have been useful.
